Moon—
I used to admire you
and confide in you, when I was a child.
Then, for many years, I forgot you.
Now much struggle wearies my head
and I again look to your sky.
Send me out, moon
so I may rejoice in your cold beauty.
The prospect of your eternal companionship
intoxicates me.
Moon, shine on me,
moon, embrace me in your long arms.
